The newspaper “Hraparak” reports that a girl, who had run away from home after an argument with her father, Samvel Babayan, the former defense minister of Artsakh, is now hiding in the backyards of Tatever Monastery in Syunik province. The girl is said to be the sister of Hasmik Lalayan, a nun and sister of the Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Karekin II. Hasmik, who was previously married to the former mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, currently resides in Avan-Arinj. Supporters of Hasmik in Vostikan claim that she possesses intelligence capabilities and is occasionally seen in secret historical sites. In Avan, she is familiar to many and is sometimes seen with close friends, business contacts, and acquaintances.

It is worth noting that when the girl went to Tatever to meet with the nun, her intent was to engage in conversations, occasionally disagree, and challenge the preacher. However, she quickly realized that she was not a provocateur and was not acting on orders from authorities, which brought her a great sense of comfort. She still has questions for the nun and hopes to find answers.
