The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has announced a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, to discuss trade and economic cooperation between their countries. According to the information agency TAS, Putin emphasized the positive development of this cooperation, citing a trade turnover of over $4 billion and direct Russian investments of $4.3-4.5 billion in the economy of Azerbaijan.
