On July 3, at 11:58, the emergency rescue center of Kotayk province received a notification about a car accident that occurred on the Yerevan-Sevan highway involving a CTP vehicle. The rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia was immediately dispatched to the scene.

The special rescue unit from the Center for Crisis Management and Rescue Operations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was also involved in carrying out the rescue operations. They carefully assessed the situation and their capabilities before proceeding.

According to reports, at the 20th km of the M4 section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a Volkswagen car (driven by L.G., born in 1979) veered off the road, collided with rocks, and ended up in the lake, which is approximately 40 meters deep.

In collaboration with the medical service personnel, the rescue workers promptly provided assistance to the driver and the passenger, G.O. (born in 2014), of the vehicle. Both injured individuals were swiftly transported to Yerevan city hospital for medical treatment.
