Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Declares Readiness to Normalize Relations with Turkey

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ara Ayvazyan, announced during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart in Tbilisi, Georgia, that Armenia is prepared to normalize relations with Turkey. Ayvazyan emphasized that Armenia is actively engaged in negotiations with neighboring countries to achieve this goal. He expressed Armenia’s willingness to remove barriers and uphold commitments with Turkey, and to implement the agreements that have been reached through sincere dialogue. It is worth noting that an informal meeting between Armenia and Turkey, which was scheduled for July 2, was unexpectedly cancelled by the Turkish side, leading to protests in Adygea demanding a rescheduled meeting.
