Armenia and Georgia have a longstanding history of friendship and neighborliness. The visit of the RA MoD (Minister of Defense of Armenia) is expected to strengthen their relations further, according to Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, in an interview with the local First Channel. Darchiashvili highlighted that the bilateral military cooperation between their defense ministries has reached a new level, demonstrated by the signing of a military cooperation agreement. Discussions during the visit covered political and military cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional activities. Darchiashvili expressed hope that the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan would maintain positive dynamics.
