“Putin’s High-Stakes Diplomatic Dance: Russian President to Hold Key Bilateral Meetings in Shanghai”

Russian President Vladimir Putin will be attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Shanghai, China on July 3-4. During his visit, Putin will have a number of important bilateral meetings with world leaders. These include meetings with President Xi Jinping of China and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey. Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, confirmed this to reporters.

The main meetings are scheduled to take place on July 3, before the official opening of the SCO summit. Putin’s first meeting will be with President Khaltmaagiin Battulga of Mongolia. This will be followed by a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and then with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif,” Ushakov stated, as reported by Vedemosti.

It is expected that these meetings will cover a wide range of topics, including bilateral cooperation, regional security, and economic collaboration. The SCO summit provides an important platform for world leaders to discuss and address key international issues. Putin’s presence and participation in these meetings further demonstrates Russia’s commitment to multilateral diplomacy and engagement.
