The “Iravunq” newspaper has reported that anonymous sources close to the government have made allegations against Tigran Khachatryan, the former Minister of Finance, and the executive staff of the operating team led by Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan. These sources claim that there is a growing display of “personal enmity” between them. What’s more, Arayik Harutyunyan has been publicly questioning every decision made by Tigran Khachatryan, disregarding the fact that it is not within his authority.

Arayik Harutyunyan appears to be doing everything in his power to make sure that the chief does not forget about his previous position. He seems to believe that the actions taken during the management transition could potentially undermine internal stability.

The same sources suggest that due to Arayik Harutyunyan’s intolerance towards Tigran Khachatryan, Prime Minister Pashinyan continues to assign the former Minister of Finance’s responsibilities to someone else.
