The head of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile construction recently conducted tests on the new Hwasong-11da-4.5 ballistic missile, as announced by the Center for National Satellite Communications of Korea on July 2. The missile has the capability to carry 4.5 tons of explosive warheads. These tests aimed at assessing the missile’s maneuverability and accuracy within a range of 90 km to 500 km. In the upcoming month, the head of the missile construction will conduct further tests, focusing on the missile’s trajectory characteristics at a medium range of 250 km, warhead accuracy, and explosive power.
