“Highway Collision in Ararat Province: Vehicles Belonging to Border Guard Troops and Judicial Department Involved”

On July 2, an accident occurred in the Ararat province at around 16:10. It involved a collision on the Margara-Yerevan section of the M-2 highway between two vehicles. One vehicle, a “UAZ” brand, was driven by a 33-year-old resident of Ararat province named Hayk Kirakosyan. The other vehicle, a “Chevrolet Volt” brand car, was driven by a 24-year-old resident of Ararat province named Narek Kirakosyan.

Fortunately, according to preliminary information reported by Shamshyan, there were no injuries resulting from the accident. The Traffic police of Ararat province is currently processing the car accident documents.

According to a source, the “UAZ” vehicle involved in the accident is owned by the RA NSS Department of Border Guard Troops. It is used for the needs of the RA Ministry of Justice Judicial Department’s “Ararat” Penitentiary Institution. This institution is under the control of the RA NSS Border Guard Troops and the RA Ministry of Justice Judicial Department. After the accident, the two individuals involved were transferred to the Judicial Department’s Shengavit Penitentiary Institution in Yerevan.
