The alarm about the explosion at Gyumri “Shirak” airport has been confirmed as false. Narek Sargsyan, the governor of the Shirak region, made a statement regarding the incident. He mentioned that efforts are currently underway to identify the person who reported the false alarm and restore normal operations at the airport.

Earlier today, at 08:50, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alarm from the Shirak regional administration regarding an explosion at the “Shirak” airport in Gyumri. However, it has been found that the alarm was false, causing concern among rescue teams and the general public.
