The chairman is suspected of plotting against the integrity of the Armenian and Russian borders, based on Article 1 of the 297th article of the Criminal Code of Armenia. On June 16, “Iravunq” reported that the chairman, responsible for protecting the Armenian and Russian borders, had visited Armenia. During the visit, accompanied by Armenian and Russian border guards, the chairman went to a monument that was closed off with barriers and police tape. The Armenian border was intact, while the Russian border appeared to be erased. No explanation has been given for this situation, and the barrier remains in place.
