Since the start of the previous October war, the United States has transferred a substantial amount of military assistance to Israel, including 14,000 2,000-pound MK-84 bombs, 6,500 500-pound bombs, 3,000 Hellfire precision air-to-ground missiles, and 1,000 air-to-surface missiles, as well as other ammunition. These figures, reported by Reuters, indicate that despite calls for a ceasefire from the U.S. military, its support for Israel remains strong, with efforts to restrict arms deliveries proving ineffective.

The Prime Minister’s Office in Israel recently announced that the U.S. has provided $6.5 million in security assistance to Israel since October 7th, highlighting the importance of ensuring Israel’s security. Prime Minister Yair Lapid previously expressed concerns that if Israel could not effectively protect its citizens or reach a successful ceasefire agreement, it would be compelled to provide additional humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
