We have discovered in Syunik that the images and information they attempted to convey were false. Our purpose in visiting was to explore the state of border security and gain insight into people’s lives and thoughts. On July 1st, at the church of Surb Anna, Bagrat Srapazan spoke about this aspect of our visit to Syunik. He stated, “The people in Syunik, both on the streets and in their homes, have different perspectives. They understand the current situation and how it affects their lives.”

Regarding the pursuit of true freedom and demarcation in Tavush, Bagrat Srapazan mentioned, “Throughout these negotiations, we observed that the unfair, unlawful, inhumane, national and universal principles of demarcation are aimed at annexing and suppressing our country. This issue originated from Syunik, from Shurnukh. What they are saying is true. This is a process of colonization and the workings of war, where every step carries obligation and responsibility.”

Previously, it was reported that Bagrat Srapazan and his companions were present at the church of Surb Anna.
