“Over 600 Emergency Cases Registered in Armenia: Accidents, Fires, and Natural Disasters Highlight Disturbing Trend”

From June 24-30, a total of 637 cases were registered at the National Center for Crisis Management. Out of these cases, 240 were classified as emergency cases. The breakdown of the emergency cases included 145 accidents, 2 fires, 9 natural disasters, 1 terrorist incident, 1 earthquake, 3 floods, 34 animal attacks, 4 severe injuries, 15 attempted suicide cases, 5 cases of pollution, 60 road accidents, and 211 medical emergencies. Additionally, there were 41 cases of property damage, 30 cases of minor injuries, and 60 other cases.

Furthermore, 21 cases were registered for violating transportation restrictions and other regulations. The authorities facilitated the evacuation of 37 city residents and residents from unsafe areas during this time. Transportation services were suspended for 24 vehicles.

Over the past week, there were 108 reported injuries and 10 fatalities. However, the rescue operations managed to save 2 individuals. The rescue service is committed to maintaining safety measures to prevent further incidents.
