Valentine Sarafian, born on June 13, 1934, in Beirut, Lebanon, sadly passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and relative. Funeral services, followed by interment, will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 12 p.m. at the Old North Church (red chapel) in Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Memorial Park, located at 6300 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068.

Valentine is survived by her son, Assadour, and daughter-in-law, Diana Sarafian, along with their children, Valentina and Daniel. Her daughter, Sonia, and son-in-law, Levon Vartanian, and their son, Garo, also survive her. Additionally, her daughter, Ani, and son-in-law, Raffi Sefian, and their children, Gregory and Alek, mourn her loss. Her granddaughter, Lara, and husband, Anthony Avedissian, as well as her sister-in-law, Dikranouhi Nigoghossian, and her children, niece Nora and Mardig Bouldoukian and son, sister-in-law, Berjouhi Sarafian and her children in Lebanon, and brother-in-law’s son, Daniel, and Madlene Sarafian and their children all share in their grief. She is also survived by the Sarafian, Nigoghossian, Barsamian, Vartanian, Sefian, Avedissian, Meghdessian, Oughourlian, and Baklayan families, as well as relatives and friends.
