In Greece, a criminal case has been launched against eight Armenian citizens from Gyumri who are involved in a drug trafficking organization, as reported by Kathimerini. Of the eight main suspects, two are minors, as stated in the indictment. The police have requested cooperation with the Greek authorities in their investigation. Interestingly, the offenders were apprehended on the island of Ithaca without any monitoring by Greek authorities. This incident, which occurred in the only mountainous region of Ithaca where the aftermath of an earthquake was observed, caused significant commotion in Greece last week. The earthquake took place near Agios Nikolaos, close to the coast of Ithaca, in an area with dense forests and vegetation and no access roads.
