An announcement has been made regarding the implementation of a state of emergency regime in the border regions of Armenia. This was in response to the seven casualties in the Osh area of Ghrgsstan, as reported by TASS.

“According to the representative of the government, a state of emergency has been declared in the Osh region due to the actions of border guards,” said a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense. “To ensure increased security in response to incidents of gunfire from the mountainous areas, the Armed Forces of Armenia have been deployed.”

Initial reports indicate that during the movement of border guards in the snowy plains of the mountains, seven individuals lost their lives. Their bodies have already been discovered. The flooding caused several dozens of inhabited houses, roads, and two bridges to be submerged in water.
