“Russian Tourists Left Stranded at Turkish Airport Due to Air Conditioning Malfunction – Apologies from AzurAir”

Around 200 Russian tourists are stranded at Antalya Airport in Turkey due to a malfunctioning heating system, leaving them sitting on the floor while the air conditioners remain non-functional. The incident occurred on AzurAir’s Boeing 767-300, which was scheduled to depart from Antalya to Moscow at 07:00. Initially, the passengers were kept near the gate, but were later seated on the plane. However, they were forced to disembark as they were not provided with water. According to one passenger, the air conditioners only worked temporarily before shutting down. AzurAir has stated that their pilot was unable to fly and the plane had to return for further inspection. The aircraft is currently being repaired and the air conditioning system is being recharged. Company representatives have apologized for the inconvenience caused by this unforeseen situation.

Meanwhile, in Moscow, hundreds of tourists at Domodedovo Airport are attempting to board a flight to Antalya. According to passenger comments, a RedWings flight is still scheduled to depart at 7 am, although the airline has not provided any explanation. They have offered to accommodate the passengers in a nearby hotel if needed.
