“Road Restrictions in Armenia: Travel Tips and Alternatives Revealed”

The announcement states that there are closed roads in the Republic of Armenia. According to the Road Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratashen road is currently only open to private vehicles. Drivers who are traveling to the border with Georgia are advised to take the M-6 route through Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Republic of Armenia, and those traveling from Yerevan to Gyumri-Republic of Armenia should use the M-1 route through the central highway. The section of the M-4 road from Yerevan to Sevan to Ijevan is open, but there may be some limitations in certain areas. Lastly, the Stepanakert-Larsi road is open for all types of transportation, as confirmed by the NKR MI DAPM and RF MI Southern Ossetia Crisis Management Center.
