The Goris Municipality has reported that the water supply for drinking has been restored in the village of Vortan. This comes after the underground water sources were contaminated due to heavy rains. The contaminated section of the pipeline has been fixed, and efforts to clean and repair the road and sewerage system in Vortan are still ongoing.

“The Goris Municipality is actively addressing emergency situations to improve the well-being of the residents and their living conditions,” stated a spokesperson for the municipality.
