Today, on June 28, an incident occurred in Yerevan. At 05:40, an unknown explosion took place near the “Moskva” cinema theater in the 2nd district. The emergency services of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrived at the scene. Yerevan’s Khachparaki district rescue service has been involved in the operation since 1 am on March 1. The explosion also shattered the windows on the fourth floor of Yerevan’s Central Post Office building. A team of emergency doctors is providing medical assistance to the injured civilians at the scene and they have been transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center. A young girl who received medical treatment at the scene has also been taken to the hospital. The maternity unit of the Ministry of Healthcare, under the leadership of the chief obstetrician of the day, is actively working as part of the emergency response. Currently, the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the website is not sharing any information about the condition of the injured or the girl who received medical treatment at the scene. Meanwhile, documents are being prepared in the maternity unit of the Ministry of Healthcare as evidence of the incident.
