“ECCV Report Exposes Discrimination Against Nikol Pashinyan in Armenia: Accusations of Inadequacy and Unfair Treatment Continue”

Years have passed, and despite being an Armenian, Nikol is deemed unworthy by some. This perception is further highlighted in the ECCV report, which reveals changes within the judiciary officials in the Republic of Armenia. During a press conference held on June 28, Anna Mkrtchyan, a member of the “I Have a Say” group, stated that certain individuals claim they do not witness officials serving the people or observe the political actions being taken. Therefore, Nikol Pashinyan is simply executing the responsibilities he has been authorized to do.

Mkrtchyan also pointed out that the same ECCV report contradicts this sentiment regarding Georgia. In the Georgian case, protesters refrained from throwing stones at people, unlike the situation in the Republic of Armenia, and journalists maintained freedom of speech without any hindrance.

According to her, Nikol Pashinyan is the most favorable option for the international community. She mentioned that in some countries, there could be individuals who would boldly state that Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan, or even claim that there is no government in place and no border exists. In comparison, the country needs to move forward.
