“Devastated Father Speaks Out: Sacrifices Made in Shushi to Stop the War”

Since the beginning of the war, there has been a lack of positive outcomes, accurate information, and orderliness. A resident of Artsakh, who had a meeting with Patriarch Bagrat Srbazan Margaryan in Meghri, shared a heartbreaking story about his son’s death in Shushi. The purpose of his son’s sacrifice was to prevent the continuation of the war. Two generals, including Hayk Gevorgyan, an Artsakh resident, and Artiom Arakelyan, who was temporarily transferred to the command, sought refuge in Shushi and filed a lawsuit. The father expressed his understanding of the sacrifices made, the plea for help, and the journey to Stepanakert. Unfortunately, his own son was killed, adding to the list of casualties. He firmly believes that if there were defenders present, Shushi would not have been captured. He asserts that even three people like himself could have held the eastern guard. Iskander made a swift advance towards Shushi and launched attacks from there, leading to the occupation of the strategic positions. He holds the responsible parties accountable and believes that justice must be served for the bloodshed. The loss of his son and the numerous lives lost during the war should not go unanswered.
