“Emergency Rescue Team Springs Into Action After Collision on Ashtarak-Aparan Highway”
On June 27, at 06:57, the emergency response center of the Aragatsotn regional administration received an alert for assistance near the village of Artashavan. A rescue team from the National Emergency Situations Rescue Service has been dispatched to the area.
According to reports, a firefighting helicopter from the National Emergency Situations Rescue Service was sent to the scene of the incident.
A collision took place on the 12th km of the Ashtarak-Aparan highway involving a Ford vehicle (driver G.A.) and a Nissan vehicle (driver V.M.).
The rescuers extricated the vehicles, closed the fuel valve of the Nissan vehicle, and provided immediate assistance to V.M., who was injured. Both V.M. and G.A. were transported to a medical center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
