The criminal case against Artur Sukoyan, the assistant to the representative of the “Armenia” group of the Holy See of St. Echmiadzin, has been called into question. During a press conference with his lawyer, Levon Kocharyan, Sukoyan commented on his defense against the charges. He stated, “As the trial phase is currently underway, I cannot provide detailed information, but I can assure you that there was no factual basis for the charges against me.” Sukoyan also addressed the events of the day in question, clarifying that while there was an altercation, there was no scuffle. He expressed his intention to provide more details after the upcoming judicial phase on August 5.
