Armenia’s Prime Minister Joins Economic Council Meeting: Enhancing Economic Policies and Addressing Key Legal Issues

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, attended a regular meeting of the Economic Council on June 26. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan. The Ministry of Economy issued an official statement providing this information.

During the meeting, Artak Kamalian, the Director of the Central Bank of Armenia, presented an update on the government’s economic policies.

The agenda of the session included discussions on various topics such as the implementation of the “Limited Liability Companies” law, proposed amendments to the Labor Code of Armenia, and the enforcement of the “Law on State Registration of Legal Entities, Registration of Separate Subdivisions and Individual Entrepreneurs, as well as State Control over their Activities”.

In addition, the members of the meeting addressed and deliberated on other relevant issues. As a result of these discussions, several decisions were made.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Economy is collaborating with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs on the “Good Governance Foundation” project. This initiative is being supported by the United Nations Development Program in Armenia.
