“Central Bank Chief Artur Javadyan and President of Latvia Discuss Cooperation and Prosperity”

The head of the Central Bank of Armenia, Artur Javadyan, had a meeting with the President of Latvia, Egils Rinkēvičs, during his official visit to Latvia on June 26. The discussions focused on the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, including ongoing discussions on regional integration and the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the EU.

Javadyan expressed gratitude to the President of Latvia for the support provided to the ongoing reforms in Armenia, including the advancement of visa liberalization dialogue. He also presented the “Roadmap to Prosperity” initiative of the Armenian government, highlighting it as our plan for a prosperous future.

The President of Latvia, in turn, expressed hope that a cooperation agreement on prosperity between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be reached in the near future. Such an agreement would contribute to the peaceful development of the region. They also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
