“Sewage System Flooding Threatens Underground Construction on David Beki Street: Urgent Reconstruction Needed”

The underground construction on David Beki street is being damaged by flooding caused by a nearby sewage system. The flooded section spans 82 meters and runs beneath Asphaltonya creek. Kamomayo Ara, the mayor of Yerevan, reported this during a meeting on June 25th. He stated that two sewers have been flooded, and the situation poses a significant risk. Ara suggested that a contractual reconstruction agreement be made, as simply repairing the damage will not solve the underlying problem. Additionally, he mentioned the possibility of using trenchless reconstruction to address the issue. Further inspections and studies will be conducted in the coming days to fully assess the situation and plan appropriate repairs.
