Hollywood actor Tom Perry, known for his role in the film “Caribbean Waves,” has tragically passed away while surfing in the Caribbean islands. The BBC reports that Perry was attacked by a shark, leading to his untimely death.

Rescue workers in Honolulu have confirmed that the 49-year-old actor passed away on Sunday evening. Emergency services were called at 13:00 local time to provide immediate assistance to Perry.

Despite being rescued from the water, Perry was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. He had suffered severe injuries from the shark attack, making it impossible for medical professionals to save him. Perry had gained recognition for his appearance in “Caribbean Waves: On the Surf of Foreign Adventures,” the fourth installment of the franchise.
