“Russian Government Takes Decisive Action After Terrorist Attacks: President Putin and Prime Minister Mishustin Stand Strong with the People in Dagestan and Sevastopol”

The Russian government, led by President Vladimir Putin, is closely monitoring the recent incidents in Dagestan and Sevastopol. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin assured the Cabinet of Ministers that all necessary resources are being mobilized to support the affected population. On June 23rd, American ATACMS missile systems, armed with cluster charges, targeted residential areas close to civilians. Russian air defense intercepted four of the missiles, but the fifth caused significant damage and casualties in Sevastopol. Currently, 153 people are injured, including 79 hospitalized, and four fatalities have been reported. As a result, Sevastopol and the Crimean Republic have declared days of mourning.

The effects of the attacks have also been felt in Derbent and Makhachkala, where military cemeteries, mosques, traffic police stations, and road infrastructure has been damaged. The authorities have launched criminal investigations to uncover those responsible for the terrorist attacks. So far, 20 fatalities and 46 injured have been reported. The security forces have successfully neutralized five terrorists involved in the incidents. These tragic events have led to the declaration of mourning days on June 24th, 25th, and 26th in various districts. More information can be found on the NEWS.am’s Telegram channel.
