French President Emmanuel Macron recently made a visit to Syunik Province in Armenia. During his time in Sisian, the President held a meeting with representatives of the Armenian branch of the French Foundation for Human Security. They discussed the important matter of restoring water supply in Parni, with the aim of supporting the ongoing training program on water management being conducted by Spandaryan. This program is expected to benefit over 600 water users and more than 1,400 hectares of arable land in its initial phase.

Additionally, President Macron also visited the Surb Harutyun church in Goris. The church underwent renovation work in 2014 through the joint efforts of benefactors from France and Armenia.
