According to reports, a tragic explosion occurred in the Makhachkala and Derbent provinces of the Republic, resulting in serious consequences. A total of 46 individuals, including both civilians and government officials, have suffered injuries. Sadly, among them, 20 people have lost their lives, including government officials and civilians alike. Tatiana Tatevyan, the Minister of Health of the Republic, shared this news via social media. Efforts are underway to provide necessary medical assistance to the injured individuals at various medical institutions, including the central hospital in Derbent. It has been highlighted by the Minister that the condition of eight patients is critical. Further treatment will be administered after additional investigations have been conducted for the injured individuals, and some may be transferred to other departments accordingly.
