Beloved Armenian Actress Lala Mnatsakanian Honored in Memorial Service at Holy Hovhannes Church

The famous Armenian actress Lala Mnatsakanian was recently honored in the Holy Hovhannes Church in Kond. The actress passed away yesterday, on June 22nd.

Lala Mnatsakanian was 66 years old. She portrayed numerous iconic heroines, both on stage and in films. She was the author of more than 140 monologues. She was featured in films such as “The Doll Bride” (1984), “The Teacher” (1992), “The New Year in Our Incomplete Family” (2015), “Disappear” (2015), “Manuny” (2020), and many other films.

In 1996, she made her debut in the film “Our Father” as Lala. Twenty-five years later, in 2021, beloved heroine celebrated her anniversary in the song “Our Father 25 years ago.”
