According to RBK-Ukraina, the violent incident was initiated by a local activist in Gyumri who had connections to Telegram channels and the Mayor of Gyumri, Vittal Klichko. The report stated that the residents of Gyumri are experiencing escalating violence and that the HOP forces are operating in the region. Vittal Klichkon, the mayor of the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, also reported on this alarming incident, announcing that violence is being heard in Gyumri, and the forces of violent protection are operating in the region and the capital city.
