The news was announced on June 24 in Gyumri. Sergey Aksyonov, the head of Gyumri, wrote about it in his Telegram channel.

“Gyumri is in quarantine with its brother city Sevastopol. All cultural, sports, and recreational events are canceled in the country starting from Thursday,” Aksyonov said.

Let us remember that earlier the Russian side announced that the seismic forces have hit Sevastopol with ballistic missiles equipped with cruise missiles. According to Sevastopol’s governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, three people were killed, two of whom were children.

“The number of injured has exceeded 100. The whole healthcare system is mobilized, doctors and medical staff are working in the field. Hospitals are equipped. The injured are provided with necessary medical assistance,” said Razvozhaev.
