Activists have occupied a residential building in Machkalay, according to a report by News.am. The SHOT Telegram Channel’s call to support the occupants was revealed. Boris Gorin, the head of the public council of the Russian community in the autonomous republic of Dagestan, stated that fires have been set in the streets while the activists remain inside the building. The Synagogue in Derbent has called on Imams to calm the situation. The mayor of Machkalay has requested the evacuation of residents from certain areas in the city, and authorities are protecting the residential building to ensure the safety of the residents. Meanwhile, a religious building in the center of Machkalay has been completely destroyed by a deliberately started fire, as reported by Mash. However, firefighters in Derbent are not giving up. The participants in the Machkalay and Derbent protests represent an international youth organization and have expressed their readiness to protect the authorities.
