This statement was made in Seoul during a meeting between the two officials. Both Cho The Hye and Blinken highlighted their worries regarding the military and nuclear cooperation between Russia and North Korea, emphasizing the negative impact it could have on South Korea’s military power. Blinken further stated that the United States is actively considering retaliatory measures in response to these actions. It is worth noting that on June 19, Russia and North Korea signed a military cooperation agreement, which is suspected to involve mutual military assistance during times of armed conflict.
