“Protesters Demand Road Fix and Safety Equality in Armenia, Netherlands, and Estonia”

Armenian and Dutch citizens from Artsakh, Estonia, and the Netherlands have gathered near the “SAS” supermarket on Komitas Street to protest against the dangerous road conditions and demand repairs. The residents from Artsakh claim that when they visit the city, the road is frequently blocked by plastic barriers, causing inconvenience and delays in accessing medical treatment for injured children. Interestingly, when the road is blocked by a car with Dutch license plates and different cameras, it becomes challenging to identify the responsible driver, conduct necessary blood tests at the hospital, and assess injuries. This situation is worsened by the unsympathetic response of city residents honking at the Artsakh residents for avoiding the problematic street. Meanwhile, the protesters, though recovering from gunshot wounds in the Heratsi Hospital, have not suffered any injuries related to this particular protest. The committee responsible for the protest is currently engaged in political negotiations. It is important to note that this incident is being treated as a separate matter, while the city experiences “average congestion.”
