“President of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, Admits Attempted Bribery and Controversial Car Incident: Unnecessary Drama Unfolds”

Today, a highly unnecessary incident occurred involving the President of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan. In a conversation with reporters, Babayan revealed that he had attempted to bribe the mechanic responsible for the delegation’s car and had cut off communication with the representatives. He stated, “On the 7th of this month, when the delegates arrived, they tried to bribe the mechanic to sabotage the car. This issue is not about the car itself, but rather about the return of Artsakh refugees. When they realized the car was abnormal and would have to be taken to court, they removed it.” Later that evening, Babayan spoke to the appointed prosecutor, who admitted his mistake and closed the case. Babayan expressed his readiness to take necessary actions if needed, and condemned the unacceptable situation created by the committee’s invitation.

Shahramyan, another individual involved in the incident, emphasized the alarming similarities between forcefully taking the car and the troubling history of Artsakh. He recounted how extremist groups had damaged the door of the Artsakh delegation and seized the car on June 21. Shahramyan expressed further distress regarding Bagrat Srbazan’s visit and his unwavering dedication to the car, deeming the government’s actions unacceptable.
