“Holy Father Bartholomew: Disagreement Signifies Truth Prevails in Our Country”

The entire story revolves around the concept of what happens when someone disagrees with a particular narrative and chooses to live with that disagreement. During a meeting with the residents of Voskepar on June 21, the Holy Father Bartholomew emphasized the significance of this notion. He stated, “If people do not agree, it signifies that there is still truth prevailing in our country, and that truth will ultimately triumph.” Additionally, one resident shared their perspective, saying, “I urge you all not to hold grudges against Tigranashen. I have mentioned that if we want to construct our church in Shurnukh, we can do so, but that doesn’t transform our church into Shurnukh. Even if Tigranashen decides not to join us, we should compromise and share half of Kirantsi instead of going there.”

These insightful statements were made during a meeting with the residents of Voskepar, illustrating the importance of embracing differing opinions and finding common ground. It highlights that disagreement can lead to a deeper understanding of truth and provides an opportunity for unity and compromise. The Holy Father’s message encourages the community to foster an atmosphere of acceptance where diverse opinions can coexist harmoniously. Overall, this story serves as a reminder of the power of dialogue and the potential for growth and progress that arise from respectful disagreement.
