Starting from July 1, the movement of heavily loaded trucks will be restricted in Echmiadzin due to the poor transportation infrastructure and the need to regulate the maximum weight of the load. The Echmiadzin Municipality has reported that offenders will face a maximum fine of 15 thousand drams. In collaboration with the road police, the municipality is currently working on organizing parking with road signs to address the city’s infrastructure issues and limit the damage caused by heavily loaded trucks to the main streets, which have resulted in damaged asphalt. The municipality has also emphasized the importance of drivers obeying road signs to ensure effective inspections.
