“Protesters Demand Justice and Fair Conditions: Unrest Erupts During ‘Stop Tavush’ Movement at Ministry of Foreign Affairs”

According to received information, on May 31, 2024, from 16:00 to 00:00, there was a protest movement called “Stop Tavush” near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Armenia. The protest was organized by participants, including residents from Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces. One of the protesters, a 39-year-old resident of Syunik, expressed dissatisfaction with the socio-economic situation and demanded better working conditions for employees of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They also accused these ministries of illegal activities and anti-state actions. This led to unrest and various incidents at the protest location. The participants emphasized that their movement was peaceful and civil, and the materials of the criminal case have been sent to the court.
