Russian television presenter Otar Kushanashvili has been hospitalized with a suspected heart attack, according to reports from RIA Novosti. Kushanashvili’s colleague, commentator and music critic Vladimir Polupanov, revealed this information.

Earlier, the director of Kushanashvili’s television station, Anton Chastak, had informed RIA Novosti that he had been hospitalized. He is currently undergoing treatment and the diagnosis is still unclear.

Chastak mentioned that Kushanashvili is a close friend and is in a relationship with his daughter, and that the incident happened unexpectedly.
