“Ministry of Justice Refutes Claims of Leadership Change in Court of Cassation”

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia has announced today that there has been a major change in the leadership of the Court of Cassation. According to an article published in the “Haykakan Zhoghovurd” newspaper, Eduard Andryan, who served as the Head of the Operational Department of the Center for Judicial Services, was released on June 18th after completing a two-year term. However, it has been clarified in a press release by the Judicial Department that the information provided in the article does not reflect reality, as no significant changes have occurred in the Court of Cassation or its Judicial Department.

It is worth mentioning that the newspaper article had previously reported a significant upheaval in the Court of Cassation, which was covered last week. The article claimed that major changes had taken place, leading to the release of Eduard Andryan from his position as the Head of the Operational Department of the Judicial Department.
