Ministry of Finance of Armenia Implements New Standards for Commercial Vehicle Registration

The Ministry of Finance of Armenia has initiated the process of updating the registration of commercial vehicles to comply with new government standards. These standards pertain to the quantity and distribution of commercial vehicles in the country. According to the ministry’s statement, there is a significant number of vehicles registered under foreign countries, international organizations, and their representative offices. Additionally, the statement emphasizes the importance of adhering to the directives issued by these organizations and their governing bodies. In 2019, the Ministry of Finance imported an Armenian-made BMW X3 from Belgium, valued at approximately 3,975,000 AMD. Customs clearance for this vehicle is currently underway, and the necessary funds have been allocated for this purpose.
