“Armenia’s Acquisition of Caesar Howitzers from France Raises High Expectations, but Challenges Remain”

The “Hraparak” newspaper has reported that Armenia has purchased 36 Caesar self-propelled howitzers from France. These howitzers have been successfully deployed in Azerbaijan and have brought great joy to Armenia. Experts praise the howitzers for their remote capability, equipped fire control system, and accuracy. However, some people argue that signing an agreement is one thing, but actually getting the howitzers to Armenia is another challenge.

In addition, in order to effectively utilize the artillery, a comprehensive system must be in place for the necessary personnel. Each howitzer requires a minimum of 2000-3000 shells, and according to NATO standards, 6000 shells are needed. Therefore, if there are 30 howitzers, a total of 180 thousand shells must be obtained.
