“The Biden Administration Under Scrutiny as Delay in F-15 Fighter Sale to Israel Raises Concerns”

The administration of US President Joe Biden has not yet registered a request to sell F-15 fighters to Israel, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. This delay has raised questions about Biden’s approach towards the decision made by his predecessor, which has faced criticism at home and condemnation abroad. According to The Washington Post, the contract for the sale of two active combat duty fighter jets was initially transferred by President Trump to his administration, but they later reversed their decision. Furthermore, canceling the deal is not an easy task, as it requires Congress approval and is set to be the largest arms sale to Israel until 2023, amid the ongoing Israeli-Iranian military tension. The Prime Minister must inform legislators about the sale in order to proceed with the transaction, but the Biden administration has yet to take this step, as noted by WSJ.
