During the 44-day war, Armenuhi Hovsepyan, the sister of fallen soldier Artur Hovsepyan, was detained by the NSS (National Security Service) for her involvement in protests against the military operation in Artsakh. This information was conveyed to NEWS.am by Gor Abrahamyan, the advisor to the Prime Minister. Abrahamyan also emphasized that the protests were peaceful demonstrations.

Prior to this, it was reported that Armenuhi Hovsepyan had left her home and went to the square, 44 days after the war began. She was unaware of the situation until some individuals entered her house and informed her without notifying other family members.
