“Prime Minister Pashinyan Sends Official Delegation to U.S. in Landmark Move for Armenian Representation in International Arbitration”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has made the decision to send an official delegation to the United States in order to implement an order. As part of this decision, “Rasia FZE and Joseph K. Borkowski” will participate in the hearings of the arbitral tribunal’s jurisdiction in case ARB/18/28. The purpose of these hearings is to determine the Republic of Armenia’s position based on the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On the Structure and Functions of the Government”.

In order to ensure the representation of the interests of the Republic of Armenia in international legal issues and protect its rights, Liparit Dirmeyan, the Director of the Office of the Representative of the Republic of Armenia in international arbitration and foreign courts, along with Arseny Mikaelyan, Head Specialist, and Karen Khachadadian, Leading Expert, will participate in the hearings. These hearings are scheduled to take place from July 1 to 5, 2024 in the United States at the Washington International Arbitration Centre.

The expenses related to the delegation’s visit, including accommodation expenses for July 1-4, will be handled by the staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with established procedures. These expenses will be paid within three working days after the delegation’s return from the visit. This information was reported by NEWS.am on Telegram.
