On Tuesday evening, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck the Khashmirs region of Iran’s Razavi Khorasan province. Mehr news agency reports that the earthquake resulted in at least four deaths and over 120 injuries. The earthquake occurred at 13:24 local time in Iran’s northeastern Razavi Khorasan province. In response to the earthquake, a humanitarian and rescue group was dispatched to the affected region to provide assistance. Additionally, 35 of the 120 injured individuals were transported to hospitals for medical treatment. Buildings in Kashmir have suffered significant damage as a result of the earthquake. The governor of Kashmir has confirmed that two individuals died while attempting to escape the earthquake and that two more individuals are still trapped under the debris.
